NIX Solutions: Adobe Reveals New AI Tools at Max Event

At the annual Max conference, Adobe introduced experimental AI-powered tools as part of its Sneaks program, showcasing innovations that allow users to rotate flat vector images and generate high-quality digital art from pencil sketches.

Transforming Vector Art and Sketches with AI

The Project Turntable feature offers the ability to change the perspective of vector images with a slider. Previously, altering a vector’s perspective required redrawing the image from scratch. Adobe demonstrated this feature at Max, showing how 2D images can be displayed correctly in various projections without distortion.

For artists working with traditional media, Adobe introduced Project Remix A Lot. This tool converts rough sketches into editable digital images using AI. The created images come with a “Layout Options” feature, which automatically selects the optimal size for different purposes, such as social media posts or blog headers.

Expanding Photoshop and Audio Capabilities

Beyond vector graphics, Adobe showcased Project Hi-Fi, a Photoshop plug-in that uses part of the workspace as a reference guide to generate AI-based content. While similar to Adobe’s Firefly, Project Hi-Fi offers more customization options for advanced users.

Adobe also presented Super Sonic, a prototype tool that transforms text into audio, recognizes objects, and identifies the author’s voice to generate sound effects and background audio, adds NIX Solutions. This tool aims to streamline audio production for video projects.

Sneak Peeks at Future Technology

These AI tools were shown as part of Adobe’s Sneaks program, which highlights in-progress technologies and gauges public interest. Although not all features from Sneaks make it to Adobe’s final products, many well-known tools—like Photoshop’s Remove tool and Adobe Fresco—originated from this initiative.

While there is no guarantee these projects will become available to the public, Adobe continues to push boundaries in digital design. We’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available about these tools and their future rollout.
