Amid competition from new platforms like Bluesky and Threads, social network X has launched a full-scale rollout of its Radar trend analysis tool. This feature offers real-time insights into current trends and discussions on the platform.
Subscription Details and Features
Previously known as “Insights,” Radar was initially limited to employees of verified companies at a cost of $1,000 per month (or $833.33 with an annual payment). Now, by subscribing to Radar, marketers gain access to powerful tools for keyword analytics, trend visualization, and real-time conversation filtering. These capabilities help track the volume and velocity of discussions, aiding in optimizing publication schedules to engage the right audience at the right moment.
Radar Rollout and Availability
As of yesterday, Radar became available through the Premium+ plan, the platform’s highest subscription tier. This plan, accessible only via the web version, costs $16 per month or $168 annually. In addition to Radar, users of this plan enjoy perks like a verification badge, message editing, and an ad-free experience. For now, Radar is being rolled out as a preview, with limited access granted to select subscribers.
Some users reported seeing Radar earlier and observed improvements in the search algorithm, adds NIX Solutions. However, some limitations remain, such as search results not showing posts older than three days. Additionally, the tool is integrated with X Pro, formerly known as TweetDeck, for a more seamless experience.
We’ll keep you updated as Radar becomes more widely available and any additional features are introduced.
